I am back in Brooklyn now, and horribly jet lagged.

I am indifferent about being back to be honest. I did have a nice dinner today though, that helped me appreciate New York and being here. I went to The General Greene, on Dekalb Ave, which is round the corner from my apt. I had a bunch of things there, and was really pleased with the evening. The sauce the steak was marinated in was delicious, although, the cut of the meat was a bit sketchy. The black beans were yummy.

In the same weekend, I went to Anima Bistro, on Myrtle Ave, which was horrendous. I just can't even begin to tell you how creepy the food was. I got a burger, and you know, I think in America, can judge a place by its burger. Because everywhere does them, and its a standard marker. Anyway, it was horrible, poorly cooked, and had wierd bits in. Never going back ever.
